What to read next

Are you stumped on what to read next? The Elkader Library offers a Reader's Advisory service that will help you discover that next great book.

The staff at the Elkader Library loves to share a love of reading with our patrons.

  • Just stop at the circulation desk, e-mail any of the staff, or give the library call we are happy to make recommendations for what you would like to read next.
  • This service is available during normal open library hours.
  • The Elkader Library has a set of bookmarks to help you with what to read next. They are called "If you Like ??????" Bookmarks. For instance if Danielle Steel is one of your favorite authors but you have read everything she has published, the Danielle Steel bookmark will list authors that write in the same gendre as Danielle Steel. So you can give one of the other authors a try.
Click on the Books & Reading tab above for more ideas on what to read next.
