Take a proctored exam

If you are taking a class from a remote institution you may need to take a proctored exam. The Elkader Public Library offers a proctoring service to the public.

The Elkader Library staff is happy to help you with any proctering services needed, below are a few guidelines that you may find helpful:

  • Proctering service is available during normal open library hours.
  • Staff will direct the student to a quiet area of the library for taking the exam.
  • To schedule a proctored test just contact library staff to set up a time to take the exam.
  • The entire staff of the Elkader Public Library is qualified to proctor tests for students just contact any staff member during normal library hours.
  • Proctoring exams for students is a service that is provided free of charge. All postage costs are the students responsiblity.
  • Instructors should mail all exams to: Elkader Public Library, PO Box 310, Elkader, Iowa 52043-0310
  • This service applies to both written and online tests.
